R.E.M. fans got some exciting news today with the announcement of a new box set out October 18th. R.E.M. at the BBC features eight-CDs containing a treasure trove of audio from UK performances including four concerts, a John Peel session, and several other radio appearances. There's also one DVD chock full of video from the UK including the band's full appearance on Later ... With Jools Holland, Top of the Pops, as well as the BBC documentary Accelerating Backwards which features interviews with Michael Stipe, Peter Buck and Mike Mills at Austin's South by Southwest Music Festival.
