$1 Million Lottery Ticket Bought In Richardson Set To Expire Today

Either someone is keen on drama, or they lost a very valuable lottery ticket. A $1 million lottery ticket purchased at the 7-Eleven convenience store at 4180 E. Renner Road, near North Star Road in Richardson is set to expire today. The Mega Millions Texas Lottery ticket was bought for the January 1, 2019, drawing, with winning numbers 34-44-57-62-70. The winner has until 5pm today to redeemed it in person by going to a Texas Lottery claim center. If they wish to redeem it by mail, they must have the envelope postmarked no later than June 30th.

As a rule, winning tickets expire after 180 days, but the Texas Lottery can make exceptions for certain military personnel. If unclaimed, the funds will go to programs authorized by the Texas Lottery, such as Fund for Veterans' Assistance and the Foundation School Fund.
