Metallica and Judas Priest, Together, Louder than Life!

Metallica performed "The Black Album" in its entirety Sunday night at the Louder Than Life festival in Louisville, Kentucky.

They opened the set with "Hardwired", "The Four Horsemen" and "Welcome Home (Sanitarium)" before doing "The Black Album's" final track, "The Struggle Within," and then went through the entire album in reverse, finishing the set with the album's first song, "Enter Sandman."

Metallica recently released a deluxe 30th anniversary edition of "The Black Album."

Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett did double duty Sunday night, joining Judas Priest on their cover of Fleetwood Mac's "The Green Manalishi (With the Two Pronged Crown)."

Hammett played his Gibson 1959 Les Paul Standard that once belonged to the late Fleetwood Mac founder, guitarist and the song's writer, Peter Green. It was also owned by the late Gary Moore.
