On This Day In 2012 Led Zeppelin Received Kennedy Center Honors

It was on this day in 2012 when Led Zeppelin was recognized by President Barack Obama at the Kennedy Center Honors for their significant contributions to American culture and arts. Comedian/musician Jack Black had the honor of introducing the "best band ever." Then, Foo Fighters, Kid Rock, Lenny Kravitz, and Heart (with Jason Bonham) performed in their honor. Robert Plant teared up a bit when seeing his late friend John Bonham's son performing on-stage.
