VIDEO: Unseen Footage of 1977 Led Zeppelin Show

The New Year got off to a good start for Led Zeppelin fans as 23 minutes of previously unseen footage of them performing on April 30th, 1977, at the Pontiac Silverdome in the Detroit suburb of Pontiac, Michigan has been posted on YouTube.

Filmed in eight millimeter by the late photographer Jim "Speedy" Kelly, it's been synced with original audio, but both the visual and audio are old school bootleg, meaning it's not great.

That night saw Zeppelin perform in front of 76,200 fans, which, at the time, was a world record for a single-act show. And, the tickets were just $10.50 each.

The film was digitized by the Genesis Museum (who worked on the recently released 4K remaster of Genesis's 1973 Shepperton Studios set), while two Zeppelin collectors synced the audio.
