Remembering Bob Marley On His Birthday

Born on this day in 1945, Bob Marley would have turned 79. The Jamaican singer, songwriter, and musician is considered one of the pioneers of reggae. Marley also ranks as one of the best-selling music artists of all time, with more than 75 million records sold worldwide. Sadly, we lost Bob Marley In 1981 after a battle with melanoma. In 1984, his greatest hits album Legend was released and became the best-selling reggae album of all time. In 1994, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
