Blue Oyster Cult to Say Goodbye with One Final Album

Fans of legendary rock group Blue Öyster Cult have been treated to 50 years of great times. But like all good things, their careers are coming to an end.. and the group has decided to say goodbye with one final, hit-packed album.

“Ghost Stories” is said to be “a collection of reimagined and completed songs that span from 1978-2016.” Many of the included tracks are considered “lost gems,” with the exception of 2016’s “If I Fell.” The release will also feature what is thought to be the only recording of a live performance of “Kick Out The Jams (MC5 cover).”

“Ghost Stories” is set for an April 12th release. In anticipation of the spring debut, the band has dropped its lead single and accompanying video.
