On This Day In 1975 KISS Were "Dressed To Kill'

Released on this day 1975, Dressed To Kill is the third studio album by KISS. Produced by Casablanca Records president Neil Bogart, and featuring the singles “Rock and Roll All Night,” “She,” and “C’mon and Love Me,” the album was a modest success, peaking at #32 on the US album chart. It wouldn’t be until the following year when the live version of “Rock and Roll All Night” from ‘Alive!’ would become a hit. The iconic cover photo was taken on the SW corner of 23rd Street and 8th Avenue in NYC. Drummer Peter Criss was the only member of the band who owned a suit, the rest of the guys borrowed suits from manager Bill Aucoin.

In honor of the anniversary, check out the complete promo video the band used to promote the album, above.
