Chicago Headed to the Big Screen in April

Chicago are headed to the big screen.

Chicago & Friends in Concert, filmed last November over two shows at Ovation Hall at the Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City, New Jersey, will premiere in select theaters on April 18th and 21st.

The friends are Robin ThickeChris DaughtrySteve VaiVoicePlayJudith HillRobert Randolph and Christone “Kingfish” Ingram.

Lee Loughnane [pr: LOCK-nane], the band's co-founder and trumpet player, says, “This concert film is a unique approach to any of our previous live performances. We very rarely play with guest artists, much less seven of them. It was very interesting to work with each guest and experience their interpretations of our music.”

Chicago & Friends in Concert is two-and-a-half hours long, and each performance is visualized in vibrant video and animation.

Chicago and Earth, Wind and Fire stop at Dickies Arena in Ft. Worth on Friday, August 23rd.
